65th Anniversary: 2020 Virtual Celebrations
2020 sees the 65th anniversary of the Renaissance Singers (Renaissance Group) and while our in-person events are postponed to 2021 in light of global events, we have prepared a virtual celebration in anticipation of these festivities: a series of short films will be released one per day between 23-27 September, featuring contributions about the choir’s history and activities from members and alumni, as well as archive material and recordings.
Our virtual celebrations culminate on Sunday 27 September with an invitation to join the choir for a ‘virtual’ performance of Palestrina’s ‘Alma Redemptoris Mater’.
